OpenAI says creative enhancements begin automatic enablement on October 30, 2026. Prior opt-outs remain; campaign settings override account defaults. Check those controls before your next creative review.

What changed
Enhancements can adapt copy, language, image size and destination using existing ads and landing pages. Variations may run without individual approval, and not every version is previewable. Manage settings in Ads Manager; inspect your actual account rather than assuming the rollout has reached every campaign.

Make a campaign decision record
GPTAd recommends a small review sheet with five entries: campaign name, checked time, account default, campaign-specific choice and decision owner. Record what you observed before discussing what the team wants. An agency handoff should identify who can approve a setting change and who will review the customer journey afterward.
For example, a fictional furniture retailer might run an evergreen shelving campaign and a short promotion with tightly approved wording. The team could make a different decision for each campaign after reviewing its offer and internal approval requirements. This is a planning example, not a claim about actual campaigns or a recommendation to enable everything.
Review the website as source material
Start with a short list of claims that would be costly to get wrong: product dimensions, delivery coverage, promotion conditions and service scope. Assign an owner and a source URL to each. Remove obsolete offers from public pages instead of relying on an internal note that the advertising team happens to remember.
For a multilingual business, ask a competent reviewer to check the customer-facing terms and checkout journey in each language the team intends to support. Record unresolved questions rather than inventing a universal translation-approval process.
Use the creative and landing-page review checklist alongside this settings review.
Separate an observation from an explanation
OpenAI reporting includes delivery metrics and attributed conversions when measurement is configured. Recent spend and conversion data may arrive later than impressions and clicks. Use consistent reporting windows before comparing periods.
GPTAd recommends a change log beside the results: budget, targeting, offer, website edits and relevant settings. A rise in CTR after several simultaneous changes is an observation, not proof that one feature caused it. Define the business outcome first, such as qualified enquiries or completed orders, and agree on what evidence would justify the next decision.

One practical next step
Choose one active campaign for a documented review. Record its current controls, inspect the offer on its destination pages and assign the next review owner. This article does not establish new country eligibility, Shopify access or a change to API permissions.
